Your Minecraft servers MOTD can be a great advertising tool and aesthetic factor. Many server owners take advantage of the MOTD, featuring recent announcements, release countdowns, and much more.
1. Login to your control panel account.
2. Stop the server by clicking the RED stop button in the console section.
3. Once the server has been stopped, click on File Manager in the sidebar menu.
4. In the File Manager section, locate the server.properties file and left-click the file name to edit it.
5. Inside the server.properties file, locate the link that contains "motd="
6. Enter your Message of The Day after the "=". You may use colour codes when doing this. Please refer to this article: Minecraft Colour Codes
7. Click the Save Content button on the bottom right of the editor, and start your server.
